Comiine - Maintenance System for Industrial Africa
Comiine is the CMMS architected for industrial Africa. Manage assets, work orders, and preventive maintenance across plants — built for variable power, mobile-first technicians, and intermittent connectivity.

Purpose-built for six industries. Founding partner program now open.
Built end to end
No bolt-on modules. No gated editions. One complete product, end to end.
Tree-and-table view of every plant, line, and unit. Status, criticality, work-order count, and last reading in a single glance.
Hierarchy, criticality, and meter history on one surface.
Raise, triage, assign, execute, close. Reactive and preventive flow through the same surface — no context switch, no second screen.
Accept or decline an assignment in one tap. Full timeline on every order.
Calendar schedules and engine-hour schedules that fire off the meter reading the technician just took. Pause a schedule without losing its history.
Meter-based PM fires on the device, offline, at the moment of the reading.
Technicians work offline. Photos, signatures, meter readings, parts pulled — all queue locally and sync the moment connectivity returns.
Local-first database on the device. Sync is the default, not a feature.
Row-level security at the database, not the application. Role-based access scoped to your organisation, with teams — and the same rules enforced on the sync endpoint, not just in the app.
PostgreSQL RLS. No application-layer faking.
Sign-off records who completed the work and when, and the signature is hash-chained into an append-only ledger, so a later edit breaks the chain visibly. A completed safety inspection is frozen outright. Work-order changes are written to an audit log clients can read but not alter.
Hash-chained sign-off ledger. Database-enforced, read-only to clients.
Common questions
Eight of the most-asked questions, answered without marketing fog.
We are architected for African industrial reality: variable power, intermittent connectivity, mobile-first technicians. Competitors retrofit offline mode; Comiine is offline-first from the schema up, and the technician app is designed to keep working when the network does not.
Yes. The technician app captures work-order updates, photos, signatures, meter readings, and parts movements offline, against a local-first database on the device. Everything syncs automatically when connectivity returns, with conflict review built in.
We scope every deployment to go live in two to four weeks: asset register import, roles and access mapping, technician onboarding. Complex rollouts with ERP integration are scoped individually.
Yes. CSV import runs through a guided wizard on the technician app that maps your columns and validates every row before anything is committed. You see exactly what will be created before you confirm. Export your register to CSV from whatever you run today and we will walk the first import with you.
Today, on managed PostgreSQL infrastructure hosted in the United States, with organisation-scoped row-level security on every table and a hash-chained signed record for every work-order completion and statutory inspection. African data residency is not something we offer yet, and we will state exactly where your data lives at every step.
Not today — we do not ship an ERP connector or a public API yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Comiine runs on PostgreSQL, so a connector is practical to build; tell us what you run and we will scope it honestly in the demo.
English today. The interface is built for localization, and additional languages ship based on deployment demand. Quotes and invoicing are handled in your currency at contract stage.
Row-level security is enforced at the database, not the application, and the same role rules are enforced on the sync endpoint rather than only in the app. Work-order changes are written to an audit log that is read-only to clients, and sign-off records are hash-chained into an append-only ledger. We align to Botswana DPA 2024 and sign data-processing agreements on request.
